Being born, raised in Ohio and the love for Baseball/Softball the Perkins Family realizes that there are limited months out of the year that you are able to get outside and practice. Being able to stay loose, swing, throw, etc., will keep you ahead of the competition. Whether you are playing Rec. Ball, JV ball, or trying to get a spot on the Varsity team, the extra work ALWAYS pays off. The Perkins family has built a State-of-the-Art Practice Center with pitching machines that use real baseballs, turf, mounds, and even video replay. See our photos for a true look inside.
Pitching Machines
Our pitching machines (baseball only) are State-of-the-Art. These machines will throw at different speeds, locations and even mix different pitches at random. Key is that it does not always throw the ball in the same spot as other pitching machines do. You have to wait for a good pitch to swing at as the machine will change of its pitches without you knowing the location, much like a game. This simulates good hitting, NOT good swinging. This will develop good hand /eye coordination.
The eyes are as important as the hands when hitting. These machines will also help work on your weaker parts of the game. If you have trouble hitting the low fastball (AKA the "pitcher pitch"), inside, outside, etc; you can work on it here.
The optional video playback will also help break down any weaknesses at the plate (batting) or on the mound (pitching). The options are endless.
